Overview
RIK, officially Radiofonikó Ídryma Kýprou (Greek: Ραδιοφωνικό Ίδρυμα Κύπρου, ΡΙΚ / English: Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation, CyBC), is the public broadcasting service
of the Republic of Cyprus, headquartered in Nicosia (Greek: Λευκωσία).
The broadcasting network operates four television channels: RIK 1 (ΡΙΚ 1), RIK 2 (ΡΙΚ 2), RIK HD (ΡΙΚ HD), and RIK Sat (ΡΙΚ Sat).
RIK 1, the flagship channel, offers a diverse range of content including news, current affairs programs, documentaries, talk shows, and more in the Greek language.
RIK 2, as the second channel, delivers news, entertainment programs, sports matches, children's programs, and cultural shows in Greek, Turkish, and English languages.
RIK HD, the high-definition channel, focuses on broadcasting sporting events and special occasions such as Formula 1 auto racing, Grand Prix motorcycle racing, the Eurovision Song Contest, and the FIFA Confederations Cup.
RIK Sat, the international service, caters to expatriates by providing selected programs from RIK 1 and RIK 2, along with exclusive productions.
