Overview
Alahad TV (قناة العهد الفضائية) is an Iraqi satellite and terrestrial television channel headquartered
in the Karrada district of Baghdad. It was launched around 2008 and is
operated by Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, a political movement that also forms part
of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).
The channel broadcasts news, talk shows, and cultural programs, reflecting
viewpoints associated with its parent organization while covering national
and regional affairs. It also runs the Al-Ahad News Agency, extending its
presence in online media. Combining political commentary with current affairs
coverage, Alahad TV remains an active voice within Iraq’s media landscape.
