TV Channel Overview
Latina TV is a Spanish-language regional television channel based in Barquisimeto, Lara State, Venezuela. Part of Grupo Latina Medios, it serves audiences in the country’s central-western region with a mixture of news, public-affairs coverage, interviews, entertainment, and other locally oriented programming.
The channel began operations in 2012. News remains a prominent part of its schedule, with reporting on regional, national, and international developments. Its current programming also covers sports, health, technology, culture, lifestyle topics, and community affairs, while interview and discussion formats bring local officials, professionals, organizations, and other regional voices into its coverage.
Latina TV operates alongside radio stations within the broader Latina Medios group. Its television output is closely connected to Barquisimeto and the surrounding central-western region, combining journalism with entertainment and general-interest content. This regional focus distinguishes the channel from Venezuela’s nationally oriented television networks and reflects its emphasis on issues, events, and communities in western Venezuela.
