Overview
Bénin TV (BTV) is a generalist television channel and the flagship station
of the Société de Radio et de Télévision du Bénin (SRTB), the public service
television and radio broadcaster of Benin, headquartered in Cotonou.
SRTB also operates a children's television channel, Bénin TV Juniors (formerly
known as Ado TV).
In November 2023, SRTB was established through the merger of the Office
de Radiodiffusion et Télévision du Bénin (ORTB), which had operated Bénin
TV and several radio stations, and the Centre Multimédia des Adolescents
et des Jeunes du Bénin (CMAJB), which had operated Ado TV and the radio
station Ado FM.
