TV Channel Overview
Radiodiffusion Télévision Ivoirienne (RTI) is Côte d'Ivoire's state-owned public broadcasting group, based in Abidjan. Created in 1962, it operates national television and radio services as part of its public-service mission to inform, educate, and entertain audiences across the country.
RTI's television portfolio includes RTI1, RTI2, La3, and the regional station RTI Bouaké. RTI1, launched in 1963, is the group's main general-interest channel, combining news, public affairs, culture, entertainment, and other broad programming. RTI2 began broadcasting in 1983 and places greater emphasis on women, family life, and social topics. La3, launched in 2020, is oriented toward music and sport, while RTI Bouaké provides a regional television service from Bouaké.
Together, these services allow RTI to combine nationwide programming with more specialized and regional output. The group also operates public radio services, making television and radio part of the same national broadcasting organization.
