Overview
EBS TV (ኢቢኤስ), officially known as Ethiopian Broadcasting Service, is a
free-to-air television network that delivers programs in the Amharic language.
Established in 2008, the network operates three channels: EBS HD (EBS TV),
EBS Cinema, and EBS Musika.
EBS HD is the flagship channel, airing a diverse range of programs such
as news, sports, entertainment, talk shows, documentaries, and business
content. EBS Cinema broadcasts Ethiopian movies, TV drama series, and sitcoms.
EBS Musika specializes in music programming, featuring genres including
pop, rock, rap, and classical music.
The network is based in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA, and Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia.
