Overview
Société Nationale de Radiodiffusion et de Télévision (SNRT / الشركة الوطنية للإذاعة والتلفزة) is Morocco's national public broadcasting organization, headquartered
in Rabat. The corporation operates a network of television and radio services
that form the core of the country’s public media system. Its television
portfolio includes multiple channels with distinct editorial roles, covering
general programming, sports, culture, religion, and regional content.
SNRT's channels broadcast primarily in Arabic and Amazigh, with additional
use of French and other languages depending on the program format. Its
services provide nationwide coverage and also extend to international audiences
through selected channels. The organization plays a central role in delivering
national news, public affairs programming, and cultural content, alongside
specialized thematic services.
Al Aoula (قناة الأولى / SNRT 1) is the main general-interest channel, offering news, entertainment,
and nationally produced programming.
Arryadia (قناة الرياضية / SNRT 3) is dedicated to sports coverage, including domestic and international
competitions.
Athaqafia (قناة الثقافية / SNRT 4) focuses on educational and cultural programming.
Al Maghribia (قناة المغربية / SNRT 5) targets audiences abroad with rebroadcasts of national programming.
Assadissa (قناة السادسة / SNRT 6) specializes in religious programming and services.
Tamazight TV (Tifinagh:ⵜⴰⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖⵜ / SNRT 8) provides programming in the Amazigh
language, representing linguistic diversity.
Laayoune TV (قناة الأولى) is a regional channel serving audiences in southern Morocco with locally
oriented content.
