TV Channel Overview
Imagen Televisión is a Spanish-language nationwide commercial television network based in Mexico City, Mexico. Operated by Grupo Imagen, it broadcasts free-to-air on digital terrestrial television across much of the country. Its general-interest schedule is designed for a national audience.
News and current affairs are combined with telenovelas, drama, entertainment, talk and variety programs, and sports. The network also produces regional news coverage for cities including Monterrey and Guadalajara, adding local reporting to its national schedule. This mix gives Imagen Televisión a broad programming profile while maintaining a substantial news presence.
Imagen Televisión began broadcasting in 2016 after Grupo Imagen obtained a concession for a new national free-to-air television network. The launch introduced a new nationwide commercial network to Mexican terrestrial television. Since then, Imagen Televisión has continued to operate as part of Grupo Imagen's broader media organization.
