TV Channel Overview
adn Noticias is a Spanish-language Mexican news channel based in Mexico City and operated by TV Azteca. It serves a national audience with continuous coverage of events in Mexico and abroad, combining scheduled news programs with reporting and analysis throughout the day.
The channel focuses on politics, public affairs, the economy, security, social issues, and international developments. Interviews, discussion programs, field reports, and documentaries provide additional context, while business, culture, sports, and other subjects appear within the broader news schedule. Reporting from different regions of Mexico adds local perspectives to its national coverage.
The service began in 2006 as Proyecto 40. In 2017, it adopted the adn40 identity as its schedule shifted more strongly toward news and information. The channel entered another branding stage in 2025, when adn40 became adn Noticias. The current name places the service more directly within TV Azteca's news operations while continuing the television service that developed from Proyecto 40.
