network in Bangladesh, operated by the Impress Group and headquartered
in Dhaka.
Launched on October 1, 1999, it is recognized as the country’s first digital television channel.
The station initially broadcast a limited schedule but later transitioned into a full 24-hour service.
Its programming spans news, TV dramas, films, music shows, documentary features, cultural productions, and a broad mix of entertainment content.
Channel i is distributed via satellite across much of Asia (and parts of Australia), reaching Bengali-speaking audiences at home and abroad.
