MRTV (Myanma Radio and Television / မြန်မာ့အသံနှင့်ရုပ်မြင်သံကြား) is Myanmar’s
state-owned public broadcasting organization, operated under the Ministry
of Information and based in Kamayut Township, Yangon, Yangon Region.
The broadcaster provides nationwide television services and plays a central role in Myanmar’s terrestrial broadcasting network.
MRTV operates multiple television channels, each designed to serve different
audiences and program categories.
MRTV HD functions as the main general channel, offering a mix of news, informational
programming, and general-interest content.
MITV (Myanmar International TV) is aimed primarily at international viewers,
broadcasting Myanmar-related news and feature programs in English.
MRTV News focuses on domestic and international news coverage.
Hluttaw Channel broadcasts sessions and proceedings of Myanmar’s national parliament.
MRTV Farmers delivers programming related to agriculture and rural life.
MRTV Sports is dedicated to sports-related broadcasts.
