Overview
Channel A (채널A) is a South Korean nationwide general programming television channel operated by Dong-A Media Group, the media organization associated with the long-established newspaper The Dong-a Ilbo. Launched in 2011 following changes to South Korea's broadcasting regulations, the channel is headquartered in the Jongno District of Seoul and distributes programming through cable, satellite, and IPTV services across the country.
