Overview
KBS News 24 (KBS 24), formerly KBS NEWS D, is a news and information channel
owned and operated by the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS / 한국방송공사), South
Korea’s national public broadcaster. It features content from KBS1 and
KBS2, including national and international news, breaking news, business
reports, current affairs programs, documentaries, weather updates, emergency
broadcasts, and more. The channel is headquartered in the Yeongdeungpo
District of Seoul. It launched as KBS 24-Hour News in 2010, was rebranded
as KBS NEWS D in 2021, and reverted to KBS NEWS 24 in March 2025.
