Overview
TBS TV is a regional television channel based in Mapo District, Seoul Special
City, and serving Seoul Capital Area (Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi Province,
and part of South Chungcheong Province). It offers up-to-date information
about Seoul Capital Area (news, traffic information, etc.), documentaries,
educational programs, music programs (K-pop, etc.), and other programs.
The channel is operated by the Seoul Media Foundation TBS, which became
a privately run organization in September 2024 while retaining its current
corporate name. TBS adopted its present name in 2020, having previously
been known as the Traffic Broadcasting System (TBS / 교통방송).
