Overview
Educational Broadcasting System (한국교육방송공사 / EBS) is a public educational television and radio network headquartered in Seocho District, Seoul, South Korea. Established in 1990, EBS operates under the Korean Educational Development Institute (KEDI) framework and focuses on supporting formal education and lifelong learning through broadcast media. It operates six television channels: EBS 1, EBS 2, EBS KIDS, EBS PLUS 1, EBS PLUS 2, and EBSe.
