Overview
Swarnavahini (ස්වර්ණවාහිනී) is a Sinhala-language general entertainment and news television channel based in Colombo, Western Province, Sri Lanka.
Launched in its current form in the late 1990s, it is one of the country’s prominent private broadcasters operated by EAP Broadcasting Company Limited.
The channel features a mix of news bulletins, political and current affairs programs, popular teledramas, reality shows, music and lifestyle content.
Swarnavahini’s programming is primarily in the Sinhala language and attracts a broad domestic audience.
Many of its flagship programs and dramas are also available online through
