Overview
News1st (Newsfirst) is a multilingual news service owned by MTV Channel,
a multimedia company headquartered in Colombo. It provides news programs
to MTV-owned three television channels (Sirasa TV, Shakthi TV, TV1) and
five radio stations.
News1st operates a streaming video channel as well. ( ⇒ LIVE TV : sometimes offline ) The channel offers news programs, talk shows, TV dramas, animated series,
documentaries, and special programs.
