Overview
Hakka TV is a free-to-air television station that broadcasts in Taiwanese
Hakka language, with Taiwanese Mandarin (Chinese) subtitles. Some programs
are also broadcast in Taiwanese Mandarin. The station offers a diverse
range of programs, including news, TV series, music shows, entertainment
programs, lifestyle-themed shows, and documentaries that focus on Hakka
culture. The head office is located in Neihu District, Taipei (臺北市 內湖區). After the amendment of the Public Television Act in June 2023, it officially
became a channel under the Taiwan Public Television Service Foundation
(PTS / 公共電視文化事業基金會).
