Overview
TaiwanPlus (Taiwan +) is an English-language news and information television
channel based in Taipei, Taiwan. The service was launched in 2021 with
support from Taiwan's Ministry of Culture and is operated by the Taiwan
Public Television Service Foundation (PTS / 公共電視文化事業基金會), one of Taiwan's
public broadcasting organizations. TaiwanPlus focuses primarily on news
reporting, current affairs, documentaries, interviews, cultural features,
and programs introducing Taiwanese society, politics, technology, arts,
and international issues to global English-speaking audiences.
Its programming includes news bulletins, feature reports, studio interviews, documentary productions, and special programs connected to Taiwan and the Asia-Pacific region. The channel also presents content related to culture, food, travel, business, and social developments within Taiwan.
