TV Channel Overview
TV Nova is a regional television station based in Pula, Istria County, Croatia. It began broadcasting in 1996 and today serves Istria, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and the Kvarner islands. From its base in Pula, the station concentrates much of its own production on local subjects and events across western Croatia.
News and current affairs form an important part of the schedule, alongside interviews, community reporting, culture, tourism, education, heritage, and other regional topics. Municipal and town-focused magazine programs follow local government activities, public projects, festivals, and everyday issues in communities throughout Istria and the wider coverage area. The station also devotes space to arts and cultural traditions connected with the peninsula.
Most of TV Nova’s programming is produced in Croatian, while dedicated Italian-language content serves the Italian national minority in Istria, Rijeka, and the islands. This includes news and other programs reflecting the multilingual character of communities within the station’s regional coverage area.
