TV Channel Overview
BFM Normandie is a regional news television channel serving Normandy, France. Its reporting follows events and issues across the region, combining local news with information on weather, road traffic, sport, culture, property, the economy, and other subjects connected with everyday life.
Coverage is not limited to a single city. Developments in Rouen, Caen, Le Havre, and other communities across Normandy are presented through field reports, interviews, discussions, and regular news updates. This broader regional approach allows the channel to follow both major urban areas and stories affecting communities elsewhere in Normandy.
BFM Normandie developed from La Chaîne Normande, a local television service established in the Rouen area. The service adopted the BFM Normandie name in 2022. While its identity has changed, regional reporting remains at the center of the channel, with news and practical information from across Normandy forming the main focus of its output.
