Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP) is Portugal's national public broadcasting organization headquartered in Lisbon. The broadcaster operates a group of television channels covering general-interest programming, cultural and educational content, news coverage, regional broadcasting, archival programming, and international services connected to Portuguese-speaking communities abroad.
RTP1 serves as the main general television channel, carrying news programs, entertainment shows, sports broadcasts, drama series, and national events.
