TV Channel Overview
N1 Srbija is a Serbian news television service based in Belgrade, with
reporting centered on events and public affairs in Serbia. It began broadcasting
in 2014 as part of N1, a regional news organization whose country-focused
operations cover Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Slovenia,
with production centers in Belgrade, Serbia; Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina;
Zagreb, Croatia; and Ljubljana, Slovenia.
Domestic politics and the activities of public institutions occupy a substantial place in N1 Srbija's coverage. The service also follows the economy, social issues, business, culture, sports, and developments elsewhere in the region and internationally. Interviews, debates, analytical programs, and reporting from journalists in the field complement its regular news coverage, allowing national stories to be examined alongside their wider regional context.
Serbian is the principal language of the service. N1 operated for many years in partnership with CNN, an arrangement that ended in 2026. Its Belgrade newsroom continues to produce Serbia-focused reporting while participating in N1's broader cross-border news operation.
