TV Channel Overview
TVS (ТВС), also known as Televsesvit (Телевсесвіт), is a nationwide television
channel based in Kyiv, Ukraine. Established in 2007, it is positioned as
a general entertainment and educational broadcaster serving a broad audience.
The channel has developed programming across several general-interest areas, including educational and family-oriented content, interviews, music, lifestyle subjects, and other studio productions. Feature films have also formed part of its television schedule.
Information programming currently occupies a substantial part of the lineup, alongside films and selected general-interest programs. This gives TVS a mixed format: its broader identity remains entertainment and educational television, while news and current-information blocks have become a prominent element of the present schedule. The broadcaster continues to operate as a Ukrainian television service with distribution extending beyond its Kyiv base to audiences in other parts of the country.
