TV Channel Overview
Telekanal MTM (Телеканал МТМ Запоріжжя) is a municipal television channel
based in Zaporizhzhia, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Ukraine. Founded by the Zaporizhzhia
City Council, it serves as the city’s municipal television service and
focuses on events and issues affecting the local community.
News and information programming form the core of MTM’s schedule. The channel reports on municipal affairs, public services, education, culture, employment, environmental topics, community initiatives, and other developments in Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region. Interviews, analytical programs, discussions, and locally produced features provide additional context on civic and social issues. Coverage of city council sessions and other significant local events is also part of its public-information role.
The broadcaster adopted the Telekanal Z name in 2016 before returning to the MTM name in 2022.
