TV Channel Overview
NDTV is an English-language news and current affairs television channel operated by New Delhi Television Limited in India. Launched in 2003 as NDTV 24x7, the channel adopted the shorter NDTV name in August 2026 as part of a broader brand update. The company has its registered office in New Delhi and maintains its corporate office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Indian national affairs form the core of its reporting, with regular attention to politics, government, public policy, the economy, business, and other issues of public interest. International developments are covered alongside domestic news, while sport, entertainment, and other general news subjects broaden the channel’s agenda. Interviews, debates, field reports, and explanatory segments supplement regular news bulletins.
NDTV forms the English-language part of a wider television portfolio that also includes Hindi, business, and regional news services. This places the channel within a multilingual Indian news network while retaining a national English-language focus.
