TV Channel Overview
Total TV is a Hindi-language news and current affairs television channel operated by Total Telefilms Private Limited and based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. Launched in 2005, the channel reports on public affairs and other developments in India, with its news output extending from local and regional stories to national and international events.
Politics, government, business, education, agriculture, health, and social issues form part of its regular coverage, alongside sports, technology, and entertainment. Interviews and issue-focused programs supplement daily news reporting, providing additional treatment of political, social, and other matters of public interest.
Total TV began with a strong focus on Delhi and the National Capital Region. That geographic background remains visible in its reporting on Delhi and neighboring Haryana, while coverage has broadened to developments elsewhere in India. This combination of capital-region reporting and wider national news reflects the channel’s development from its original regional orientation.
