Overview
Swayam Prabha is an educational platform established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). It comprises three divisions: Swayam Prabha (for higher education), PM eVidya (for school education), and SATHEE (for competitive exams).
Swayam Prabha consists of approximately 40 channels dedicated to broadcasting
high-quality educational programs. The content is provided by institutions
such as the IITs, UGC, CEC, and IGNOU.
PM eVidya TV includes around 200 channels that offer educational content for students from classes 1 to 12. These channels broadcast curriculum-based material developed by NCERT and other organizations, including CBSE, KVS, NIOS, Rotary, and more. Video content is available in Hindi, English, and regional languages.
SATHEE (Self-Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exams) is an online platform with 8 channels, providing a variety of study materials, practice tests, personalized guidance, and educational content tailored for college entrance and career-oriented exams.
