TV Channel Overview
Operating from Bengaluru, Karnataka, NewsFirst Kannada is a Kannada-language
television news channel focused on Karnataka and developments affecting
the state. Its reporting gives particular attention to Karnataka politics
and hyper-local news, while also following major regional, national, and
international events.
Public affairs and breaking news form a substantial part of the channel’s output. Sports, cinema, and other current topics are covered alongside political and general news, giving the service a mix of statewide reporting and broader stories from India and abroad. Bengaluru features prominently, but the channel also reports on developments in other parts of Karnataka rather than limiting its attention to the state capital.
NewsFirst Kannada’s official contact information places its office on New Mission Road in Bengaluru. The channel’s own description emphasizes local and regional reporting, especially Karnataka politics and hyper-local news, positioning the state and its communities at the center of its Kannada-language news coverage.
