TV Channel Overview
Bahrain Radio and Television Corporation (BRTC) is Bahrain's government-owned
national broadcaster, operating under the Ministry of Information. Its
television channels include Bahrain TV (BTV / تلفزيون البحرين), Bahrain International (بحرين انترناشيونال), Bahrain Sports 1 (البحرين الرياضية
1), Bahrain Sports 2 (البحرين الرياضية 2), and Quran Kareem TV (القرآن الكريم). Bahrain TV is the main national television channel, while Bahrain International
provides English-language programming. The two Bahrain Sports channels
focus on sports-related coverage, and Quran Kareem TV is dedicated to Islamic
religious programming.
BRTC also operates national radio services in Bahrain, including Arabic- and English-language stations. These radio operations, together with its television channels, place BRTC within Bahrain's official state broadcasting structure.
