TV Channel Overview
C14 (Channel 14 / ערוץ 14) is a Hebrew-language commercial television channel based in Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut,
Central District, Israel. News and current affairs form a substantial part
of its schedule, alongside political and public-affairs discussions, culture
and entertainment, sports, business, and other topical programming.
Much of the channel’s daily output centers on news bulletins, interviews, studio discussions, commentary, and programs examining domestic and international developments. The schedule also covers economics, technology, health, sports, food, culture, and entertainment. This combination gives Channel 14 a broad general-format schedule with a particularly strong emphasis on news, current affairs, and discussion.
The broadcaster began operations in 2014 as Channel 20, originally concentrating on Jewish heritage and tradition. Its scope gradually expanded to include a wider range of news and current-affairs programming. In 2021, the station moved to channel number 14 and subsequently used the Now 14 name. The C14 identity was later introduced across its digital operations, while Channel 14 remained the television brand.
