Overview
Kuwait Television (KTV / تلفزيون الكويت) is the state-owned television
station under the administration of the Ministry of Information (وزارة
الاعلام).
It operates nine television channels: KTV 1 [القناة الأولى] (flagship channel), KTV 2 [القناة الثانية] (English-language channel), KTV Sport [القناة الثالثة الرياضية] (sports channel), KTV Sport Plus [قناة بلس الرياضية] (sports channel), Khallik Bilbait [خليك بالبيت] (entertainment channel), KTV Arabe [قناة العربي] (cultural channel), Al Qurain TV [قناة القرين] (retro entertainment & children's channel), KTV Al Majlis [قناة المجلس] (National Assembly channel), and KTV Ethraa [قناة إثراء] (Islamic channel).
