Overview
Kuwait Television (KTV / تلفزيون الكويت) is the state-owned broadcaster, overseen by the Ministry of Information
of Kuwait (وزارة الاعلام).
It operates eight channels: KTV 1 (commonly referred to as Al Kuwait) (القناة الأولى) [القناة الأولى] (flagship channel), KTV 2 [القناة الثانية] (English-language channel), KTV Sport [القناة الرياضية] (sports channel), KTV Sport 2 [القناة الرياضية الثانية] (sports channel), KTV News (also known as KTV Al Akhbar) [القناة الأخبار] (news channel), KTV Arabe (قناة العربي) [قناة العربي] (cultural channel), Al Qurain TV [قناة القرين] (retro entertainment & children's channel), and KTV Ethraa (قناة إثراء) [قناة إثراء] (Islamic channel).
Live streams are available on 51Kuwait, a digital platform affiliated with the Ministry of Information.
