TV Channel Overview
Ch4Teen (قناة 14 الفضائية / قناة فورتين) is an Arabic-language Shia Islamic television network from Kuwait. Its
programming is centered on Islamic religion and culture, with particular
attention to Shia religious teaching and traditions. The name “Fourteen”
refers to the Fourteen Infallibles in Shia belief.
Religious lectures, Quran recitation and study, Hussaini gatherings, and devotional recitations form a substantial part of the schedule. Programs for children and younger audiences are also produced, while drama and other general-interest content appear within the network’s broader religious and cultural framework.
Ch4Teen operates several specialized channels in addition to its main Fourteen 1 service. The network includes Fourteen Quran for Quran-related programming, Fourteen Kids for younger audiences, Fourteen Clip for devotional and related audiovisual content, and Fourteen Documentary. Additional channels are used for religious gatherings and special-event programming. Together, these services allow the network to separate different types of religious, educational, children’s, and documentary content while retaining a common Shia Islamic focus.
