TV Channel Overview
TV Alittihad (قناة الاتحاد) is an Arabic-language Lebanese satellite television channel based in
Lebanon. Its current service is centered on news and public affairs, with
coverage of Lebanese developments alongside regional and international
events. Political, economic, social, and security-related stories make
up a substantial part of its output, while sports and other general-interest
subjects broaden the channel’s coverage beyond hard news.
News bulletins and current-affairs reporting form the core of the schedule, supported by interviews, discussion programs, video reports, and coverage of ongoing events. Economic reporting follows business, energy, markets, and related regional issues, while the sports section covers football and other competitions. A separate variety section carries material on society, culture, technology, health, and everyday topics. Taken together, these areas give TV Alittihad a general news-oriented format with a strong focus on Lebanon and the wider Middle East.
