TV Channel Overview
Future TV (تلفزيون المستقبل; Al Mustaqbal) is an Arabic-language Lebanese general-interest television channel based in Beirut. It is currently carried by Cablevision in Lebanon, where it is classified as a general channel. Its present television schedule is centered mainly on archived programs produced during the channel's earlier years.
The archive spans news and current affairs, interviews and discussion programs, drama, entertainment, culture, and other general-interest content. Alongside the television service, the Future TV website publishes current Lebanese, regional, and international news, together with coverage of the economy, sports, technology, culture, and entertainment. This digital news activity operates alongside the archive-based television schedule.
Future TV began broadcasting in 1993 and later expanded its reach beyond Lebanon. Financial difficulties led to the suspension of regular production operations in 2019. Television transmission subsequently continued with reruns of older programs, while the Future TV website and social media accounts resumed regular news publishing in 2024.
