TV Channel Overview
An-Najah Nbc (فضائية النجاح) is an Arabic-language Palestinian television channel based in Nablus,
Palestine, and operated through the Media Center of An-Najah National University
(جامعة النجاح الوطنية). The channel combines broadcasting with the university’s educational
mission, providing media content for Palestinian audiences while also giving
students and graduates opportunities for practical training in journalism
and television production.
Its programs address political, social, economic, cultural, religious, and youth-related topics, together with news and current affairs. Interviews, discussion programs, documentaries, and other productions explore issues affecting Palestinian society, while the Media Center’s broader work emphasizes themes including human rights, democracy, equality, and community participation. This connection links media production with education and public engagement.
The idea for a university television channel emerged in 2009 as An-Najah expanded its media education and production activities. The project later developed into An-Najah Nbc, which began broadcasting in 2015. Since then, the channel has become part of the university’s wider Media Center, where television production, journalism training, and public-facing media activities are brought together. This structure continues to connect the channel’s broadcasting role with the university’s work in media education and professional training.
