TV Channel Overview
ATV is a Turkish-language nationwide general-interest television channel
based in Eyüpsultan District, Istanbul, Istanbul Province, Turkey. Operated
by Turkuvaz Aktif Televizyon Prodüksiyon A.Ş., a company within Turkuvaz
Media Group (Turkuvaz Medya Grubu), it serves a broad domestic audience
with a schedule combining scripted and unscripted programming.
Drama series occupy a prominent place in the lineup, alongside daytime programs, quiz shows, entertainment formats, films, religious programs, and regular news bulletins. This range gives the channel a mixed schedule that moves between fiction, studio-based entertainment, factual or discussion-oriented daytime content, and coverage of current events.
ATV began broadcasting in 1993. Over time, its schedule developed around nationally produced drama and entertainment while retaining news and other general-interest programming. Its current schedule combines drama, entertainment, daytime programming, informational content, and news across different parts of the day.
