TV Channel Overview
Al Mashhad (المشهد) is an Arabic-language television channel headquartered in Dubai Studio City, Dubai, Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It serves audiences across the Arab region, with an editorial focus on news and current affairs as well as political, economic, social, and sports topics.
News bulletins follow developments in the Arab region and internationally, while discussion programs and other studio formats examine public affairs from different perspectives. The channel also addresses business, social issues, sports, and other contemporary subjects, giving its schedule a broader information and discussion profile than one centered solely on continuous news coverage.
Al Mashhad began broadcasting in 2023 from a newly established facility in Dubai Studio City. From its launch, the organization was developed as a television operation with a strong digital-media component, including content adapted for social media and engagement with younger Arab audiences. Journalist and television presenter Tony Khalife founded the channel and led its launch.
