schools, five middle schools, 34 elementary schools, and six district centers.

This area is commonly referred to as Shawnee Mission and encompasses the
cities of Fairway, Lake Quivira, Leawood, Lenexa, Merriam, Mission, Mission
Hills, Mission Woods, Overland Park, Prairie Village, Roeland Park, Shawnee,
Westwood, and Westwood Hills.
