Overview
Billerica Access Television (BATV) is a non-profit public, educational, and governmental (PEG) access television organization serving the town of Billerica, Massachusetts. Founded in 1987, it operates as a community media center that enables residents, local organizations, and businesses to create and share original video programming. BATV provides access to studios, production equipment, editing facilities, and media training to support local expression and civic engagement.
The station operates multiple channels, including the Public (PUB) Channel for community-produced content, the Education (EDU) Channel featuring school and educational programming, and the Government (GOV) Channel dedicated to town meetings and official municipal coverage. In addition, BATV offers the HD Best of BATV Channel, which showcases selected high-definition programs from across its services.
Programming is distributed via regional cable systems and online platforms.
BATV is based at the renovated Howe School building on Billerica Road in
Billerica. Live streaming of all channels is also available through its
official website (occasionally offline).
