TV Channel Overview
WHOH-TV is the government access television channel of the Village of Hastings-on-Hudson, New York. The station began regular programming in 1996 and is operated as part of the village’s technology and communications services.
Municipal proceedings form a central part of its schedule, including Board of Trustees meetings as well as Planning and Zoning Board meetings. WHOH-TV also carries coverage of village-sponsored events, election results, interviews, and other locally produced programs. Its information services extend beyond scheduled programming, with the channel used to share emergency notices, school delay information, snow emergency updates, and other public alerts.
The station developed after the village signed a cable franchise agreement in 1995 that allowed Hastings-on-Hudson to establish a channel for governmental use. WHOH-TV moved its operations to the James V. Harmon Community Center in 2007. From there, it continues to focus on local government activity, community events, and practical information for village residents.
