Overview
BronxNet is a public, educational, and government access television service based in the Bronx, New York City, New York, United States. It serves the Bronx through locally oriented cable television programming, media production education, equipment access, and opportunities for residents, students, and nonprofit organizations to create their own programs. Its content includes public affairs, education, arts, culture, community discussions, youth media, multilingual programs, and other borough-focused productions.
BronxNet operates six channels: BX OMNI, a general public access channel; BX ARTS, focused on arts-related programming; BX CULTURE, centered on cultural content; BX INFORM, used for information-oriented programming; BX INSPIRE, carrying inspirational and community-minded content; and BX LEGACY, featuring archival and heritage-related BronxNet material. Its main facilities are located at Lehman College, with additional sites in the Bronx.
