Overview
Northeast Addison Television (NEAT) is a nonprofit community television
station and media center based in Bristol, Vermont, United States. Founded
by local parents and teachers in 2002, it serves Bristol, New Haven, Starksboro,
Lincoln, Monkton, and Huntington. NEAT provides public, educational, and
government-access media for these communities.
Its programming includes coverage of local events, municipal meetings, school board proceedings, and the work of community committees and public bodies. The station also presents locally produced programs and public-interest information created by residents, schools, nonprofit organizations, and other community groups. Its archive preserves recordings of local government, education, and community activities.
NEAT offers production training, video equipment, facilities, and technical support to community members. These resources help residents of all ages learn how to record, edit, and share noncommercial media. Through its television service, archive, and media education, NEAT supports public dialogue, local understanding, civic participation, and community-based communication across its service area.
