Overview

CVTV, also known as Central Vermont Television, is a nonprofit community media and technology center based in Barre, Vermont, United States. It serves several communities across central Vermont and operates two cable channels with different roles.

Channel 192 is designated as the Public & Educational channel. Its schedule includes locally produced noncommercial programs, educational and community-oriented content, local sports, religious programming, and productions created by residents and local organizations. It provides a platform for community expression and subjects that may not be covered by commercial television.

Channel 194 is the Government channel. It focuses on municipal meetings and other public proceedings, including coverage involving city councils, select boards, local government bodies, and civic decision-making.
