Brazil’s federal legislature and judiciary maintain television services that bring institutional proceedings and public-affairs information into nationwide media. TV Câmara, operated by the Chamber of Deputies, covers plenary sessions, committee meetings, hearings, and public-policy topics. TV Senado performs a similar role for the Federal Senate, while TV Justiça, operated by the Federal Supreme Court, focuses on hearings, judgments, legal analysis, and judicial affairs. All three services use Portuguese.
On this page, Squid TV distinguishes these channels by the public institution responsible for each service and by the proceedings and subjects it covers. This makes the relationship between television and Brazil’s federal institutions easier to follow: the Chamber, Senate, and Supreme Court each use television for a different part of legislative or judicial public communication. The broadcaster information therefore adds institutional context to services whose purpose is closely tied to civic and public affairs.
