Nepal Television (NTV / नेपाल टेलिभिजन) is the state-owned public television broadcaster of Nepal. The organization operates several television channels, including NTV, NTV Plus, NTV News, NTV Kohalpur, and NTV Itahari.
NTV is the main television channel of Nepal Television and broadcasts news, entertainment, sports, cultural programs, and public-interest content. NTV Plus, launched in 2003, presents entertainment, information, and sports programming aimed primarily at younger audiences, with content broadcast in languages including Nepali, Maithili, Newari, and English.
NTV News, launched in 2014, focuses on news and current affairs programming in Nepali, Maithili, Newari, and English. NTV Kohalpur is a regional television channel based in Kohalpur in Lumbini Province and broadcasts programs in Nepali, Tharu, and English. NTV Itahari is another regional channel based in Itahari in Koshi Province, presenting programming in Nepali, Maithili, and other local languages.
