Overview
First Channel (1TV Armenia / Առաջին ալիք / H1 / Հ1 / Armenian Public TV), officially the Public TV Company of Armenia (Հայաստանի հանրային հեռուստաընկերություն), is the national public television broadcaster of Armenia, based in Yerevan. It operates four television channels: First Channel (Առաջին ալիք), First Channel News (Առաջինի լրատվական ալիք), First Channel International (Առաջինի միջազգային ալիք), and First Channel America (Առաջին ալիք Ամերիկա).
First Channel is the flagship channel of the Public TV Company of Armenia.
First Channel News, launched in 2021, is a 24-hour news and information
channel. First Channel International, launched in 1996, is a satellite
channel broadcasting across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
First Channel America serves both North and South America, offering a wide
range of informative, analytical, documentary, cultural, and entertainment
programs.
