Overview
Latvijas Televīzija (LTV) is the state-owned public broadcasting company
of Latvia, headquartered in Riga. It operates two digital terrestrial (cable/satellite)
television channels and one online streaming channel.
LTV1 is the flagship television channel of Latvijas Televīzija and provides
news, TV series, movies, weather forecasts and more.
LTV7 is the second channel that broadcasts sporting events, documentaries,
children's programs, cartoons, and other cultural programs.
Visiem LTV (VISIEMLTV.LV) is an online television channel for foreign viewers,
mostly targeted for the Latvian diaspora. It broadcasts a mixture of LTV1
and LTV7's programs, permitted by copyright laws.
