Overview
FREEDOM (FREEДОМ), formerly known as UATV, is a Russian-language international
television channel headquartered in Kyiv. It is owned by the Ministry of
Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.
The purpose of the channel is to objectively inform Russian-speaking people
around the world about the situation in the temporarily occupied territories
of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and in Crimea. Some programs are broadcast
in English, Arabic and Ukrainian languages.
