Overview
Qatar Television (تلفزيون قطر / QTV) is a public television station based in Doha. It operates two television
channels, Qatar Channel 1 and Channel 2. Qatar Channel 1 is the flagship
channel of the station and broadcasts a variety of programs. Qatar Channel
2 broadcasts entertainment and cultural programs includuing TV drama series,
talk shows, music programs, animated series, and other specials. The station
is owned by Qatar Media Corporation (المؤسسة القطرية للإعلام) and is a
sister station of Al Kass Sports Channels.
